P1 Are ready for Summer

27th Jun 2019

Primary One have been very busy this term! Our topic was Splish, Splash, Splosh. We learned all about water! We spent some time learning about animals in the ocean and animals we might find at the seaside. We turned our water tray into a real rock pool filled with pebbles and seaweed, we worked very hard in the beach cafe and we worked together to see who could build the biggest sandcastle.

We were also very lucky to experience some glorious summer sunshine! We went on a summer walk around the school to see what signs of summer we could spot. We saw some beautiful flowers in our Millennium Garden and there were a lot of bees busy collecting pollen in the garden!

We finished off term 3 with a lot of outdoor play. Everyone loved playing in our new Mud Kitchen! To celebrate all of our hard work over the past year we got to enjoy our party food out on the decking! All of us in P1 are definitely ready for a break! We hope everyone has a lovely, enjoyable and safe summer holiday!
