A Busy Week

P5/6 had a really busy week. 🏫 ✏️ 🌟 😊 We managed to complete a lot of Maths tasks for Maths Week. Today we took on the ‘One Minute Challenge’. We had to do an activity and stop when we thought we had reached a minute. We were learning to estimate the passage of time and learning how to use different units of time. We also practised out group working skills and remembered how important it is to take turns, listen to each other and communicate properly. 

we learned that time can feel different depending on what you are doing! Saying your timetables for 1 minutes seems to be harder than clapping for a minute!!!

A very enjoyable task and we learned a lot from it! The pupils want to do it again! 

We’ll also managed to squeeze in a bit of ICT. We followed a Just2easy lesson to help us design a poster in J2Create. The pupils found this challenging and very interesting! They thoroughly enjoyed the lesson and I look forward to seeing the finished products next week! 🎃
