Lighting up the Dark in P1 and P2

P1 and P2 have been having lots of fun learning about Light and Dark in our World Around Us Topic. We have been seeking out really dark places and investigating how to shut out sources of light. The darkest place we could find was Mrs Marron's store. We have been bringing in our own light objects to light up the dark in the really dark places we made and found. We had lots of fun planning and designing our 'Light up the Dark' classroom display, where we got to make our own 3D houses, which ties in very nicely with our Maths Topic too!!
