We were delighted to have Clodagh and Molly from The Nerve Centre in St.Anne’s today. They ran an Ofcom in-school workshop for P5-7. 🙂 💻 🤖 The theme for the workshop was ‘Navigating Mis and Disinformation’ as part of Media Literacy Activities for Children and Young People in Northern Ireland.
The girls and boys were really engaged throughout the workshop and there was a lot of critical thinking and discussions going on in the classroom! 🙋♀️ The pupils really enjoyed learning more about AI and they now feel more confident in spotting AI online and understand the difference between misinformation and disinformation, helping them make safer and more informed decisions. 😎
