More Fun in P1&2 π
26th Sep 2025
Things have been very busy in P1&2 over the last couple of weeks!!
In our non-number numeracy we have been exploring sorting and data handling. We took a walk outside to search for some autumn leaves, we then used a Venn Diagram to sort our autumn leaves π We also used our sorting skills to sort the children into different groups! The boys and girls in P2 have been revising their Cuisenaire Rod values and using their rods to practise adding one and to learn their doubles!!
P1 have been working hard on their fine motor skills, using tweezers, sorting small objects and using the playdough to build their hand muscles π There has been lots of play; working together, developing our listening skills and building our decision making skills! P2s ended the week getting some practice in with MathSeeds on the laptops π»
We are all looking forward to our P1s finishing time moving to 2 o'clock on Monday so we can squeeze even more fun into our days π
