To mark World Maths Day on Wednesday, the boys and girls took part in a Live Mathletics challenge. They had to answer 20 sets of quick fire questions to earn points for the school!
They loved competing against other pupils, but only in Northern Ireland but across the world! They worked so hard that we were ranking 9th by the time break arrived!
Well done to our Mathletics stars who are working so hard and working their way up the certificates!
We played a new Mental maths games called Switch It this week and it’s safe to say the kids loved it! They kept asking to play it again and again! We used playing cards and a place value template. As we are learning about decimals this week, we included tenths in the game.
We also played Connect to help strengthen our Tables knowledge. Another fun game!!! Well done everyone!
