Primary 3 and 4 have had two very exciting days with Knockahollet Primary 3s and 4s, taking part in STEM Shared Education projects on each others World Around Us topics 😀
On Thursday, we got hands on building ear defenders from lots of different materials, our topic this term is 'Safe and Sound'. The children made some very creative ear defenders, and enjoyed testing them. They tested their products to check if they were successful and comfortable! We also got to test out string telephones which was interesting to hear the way that sound travels.
On Friday, we took part in Mrs Watsons science lesson! 'Cabbage Chemistry'. We completed experiments to test if all of the different liquids were acidic, neutral or basic. After this, we got to paint with different liquid paints that were used years ago, before paint was invented! :D
We made some great friends during all this hard work and look forward to working with Knockahollet again ☺️
