Term 3 has got off to a busy start in P1&2! We have started a new topic ‘How Does your Garden Grow?’ We are learning all about plants, mini beasts and gardening 🦋 The boys and girls dissected some plants with Mrs Black and were labelling them, they learned about the conditions needed for plants to grow and they even got to plant some seeds of their own. They will be looking after their plants over the next few weeks and we will hopefully see some shoots starting to grow 🌱 In our writing we have started a new genre: Procedural Writing. We discussed the importance of instructions and what different things we might need instructions for. Mrs O’Hara modelled writing a set of instructions for ‘Making Toast’, she then followed the instructions to make everyone some toast 🍞 P1&2 have also been working together during Play in the construction area to produce some masterpieces 😄
