P5/6 have started their new WAU topic ‘Walk like an Egyptian’ and they already love it! We have looked at how the ancient pyramids were built and learned a bit about King Tut. The pupils did some online research and were able to find some very interesting facts about Ancient Egypt. We shared the facts with the class and we even had a little dance to the song ‘Walk Like an Egyptian’.
Fianna has been fortunate enough to have visited Egypt on several occasions and was excited to share some photos and souvenirs she had from her trips. The class loved looking at these and hearing about her camel rides and desert trips!
