Young Enterprise NI
P1 to P7 pupils are all taking part in Young Enterprise programmes this term and today we had a special visitor to St.Anne’s. Jane Hanna from Young Enterprise NI took P5/6 through a wonderful session on ‘Our World’.
Today we explored how countries around the world rely on each other for different resources. Throughout the morning, the pupils took part in a range of engaging activities that linked Literacy, Maths, Geography and Art. We were particularly surprised to discover where everyday items such as our jumpers are made!
The pupils worked collaboratively in pairs and groups, showing excellent teamwork and communication skills. Their creativity really shone when they were challenged to design their own product to sell in another country, with lots of imaginative and thoughtful ideas being shared.
It was a fantastic morning of active learning, with the class making great connections across different areas of the curriculum.
Young Enterprise NI inspires and prepares young people with the skills and confidence to succeed in a global economy. It’s gives our pupils the opportunity to develop enterprise skills and build confidence and ambition.
